Spartan Spring practice begins the first week of March and includes preparation for games played in the Gridiron Elite Classic, and invitational games/scrimmages that prepare the team for its Fall season. 

Coaching staff and a majority of players participate in the Spring season with many guys who are trying out for the team able to get playing time and film for purposes of making the fall team or transitioning into college.  Film from spring games is circulated to local schools and are used for recruitment purposes.
